Just a block away from the reception site, this venue accommodates all kinds of entertainment spectaculars including concerts, hockey games and even rodeos! Keep an eye out for upcoming events near the wedding date.
The Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs minor league baseball team has a fantastic stadium on the east end of the city. Check it out for a guaranteed All-American good time!
Lehigh Valley Mall
For shopping and restaurants, Allentown boasts a sizable mall just a few miles north of the reception venue. Our personal favorite? Check out Dunderbak’s Market Café for some authentic German food, an enormous selection of craft beers, and one of the best hot dogs you’ll ever have!
Allentown Farmers’ Market
If you’ll be in town during the week, this is a must-see hot spot! Try some authentic Pennsylvania Dutch specialties like pierogies and Shoo Fly Pie. Also, stop at Dan’s for some delicious rotisserie chicken with all the fixin’s!
Liberty Bell Museum
Did you know that the Liberty Bell was once hidden away in a church in Allentown? Find out lots more at this quaint but fascinating historical spot.
Don’t forget: even if you’re staying in Allentown, you’re only an hour away from Philadelphia and less than two hours from New York City! It’s a great excuse to get a miniature tour of some incredibly exciting East Coast Cities while you’re visiting!
